BTS Participates in the 2011 Volkswagen SQC

BTS is excited to announce our participation in the 2011 Volkswagen Sales and Service Qualification Championship!

The Volkswagen Sales and Service Qualification Championship (SQC) is a nationwide program that allows VW sales Consultants, Service Consultants and Technicians to compete for the title of "Best of the Best" in their particular job role. The competitive field is narrowed through multiple rounds of online testing and a semi-final event comprised of hands-on and written testing. The final top 12 competitors in each job role attend a rigorous final competition in a beautiful resort area. The first place Service Consultant and Technician will then compete in Germany against over 60 other markets for the title of World Champion.

BTS has been involved in the planning, development and facilitation of SQC for the past 4 years. In 2011, BS has provided development of questions for the online testing portion of the competition as well as development of various hands-on activites for the semi-finals and final competition. Several BTS Associates will be attending the semi-final competition in October as well as the final event in January 2012. BTS Associates will provide on-site event support as activity proctors and actors for skill-practice activities.

Walking The Walk of Training

For those folks enthralled with the etymology of words, the team at BTS figured out that pedagogical comes from the Greek words for “to lead” and “child;” therefore the pedagogical training undertaken at the end of January helped the staff to better lead their learners. In the still present spirit of the Volkswagen Sales & Service Qualification Championship, the staff at BTS, along with a handful of extremely dedicated participants from Volkswagen’s warranty team, gathered in Fort Lauderdale to focus on learning new techniques and sharpening the tools of their trade of facilitation.

Global Financial Training Certifications For BTS

Mary Temple and Chris Pearce spent five days immersing themselves in the financial ins and outs of Volkswagen dealerships. The example dealer in the participant guide was a German dealer. To add a little fun into the mix, none of the participants were German. And if that wasn’t enough hurdles to wrestle with, the class was taught in English, a language known worldwide for its elegance and simplicity, of course, much to the enjoyment of the non-English speaking participants from Asia and Italy.
